Tew Pei Yi was an employee of a tourism company in Malaysia until she lost her job last year as the tourism industry was badly hit by COVID-19 pandemic. With her interest in making pastries, she began to explore making mooncakes. As the Mid-Autumn Festival approaches, the ice-skin mooncakes made by her repeated tests has won praises from her relatives and friends, and finally gained many customers on social media.
