NEW YORK, Sept. 12 (Xinhua) -- Novak Djokovic's bid for the first calendar-year Grand Slam in men's tennis since 1969 was thwarted when the world No. 1 lost 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 to Daniil Medvedev in the U.S. Open final here on Sunday.
