FUZHOU, Sept. 16 (Xinhua) -- East China's Fujian Province reported 48 new locally-transmitted confirmed COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, the provincial health commission said Thursday.
The confirmed cases were reported in the cities of Xiamen, Quanzhou and Putian.
The province has reported a total of 200 locally-transmitted confirmed COVID-19 cases since Sept. 10, and all patients are currently receiving treatment in hospitals. Four local asymptomatic carriers are currently under concentrated medical observation and quarantine.
