BEIJING, Sept. 18 (Xinhua) -- Domestic disaster movie "Cloudy Mountain" topped the Chinese mainland box office Friday, generating 25.3 million yuan (3.9 million U.S. dollars) on its first day of screening, figures from the China Movie Data Information Network showed Saturday.
It was followed by Chinese action film "Raging Fire," which tells a story about a police hunt for a drug-trafficking gang. The film raked in 7.2 million yuan Friday.
U.S. sci-fi action film "Free Guy" ranked third with a daily box office earnings of 5.7 million yuan. Enditem
