XI'AN, Sept. 23 (Xinhua) -- China's Olympic squad, bearing the name of the "United Team," beat Beijing 4-0 to reach the women's soccer final at the country's 14th National Games Thursday afternoon, setting up a title-deciding match against Shanghai.

Playing aggressively in the semifinal match, the United Team opened scoring on just five minutes through Yang Lina, who converted in a corner kick.

Thirteen minutes later, Beijing's Lyu Yuting committed an own goal after heading in Chinese international Wang Shuang's corner.

In the 56th minute, Zhang Xin scored the third for the United Team after former Paris Saint-Germain playmaker Wang Shuang made a fine play inside the box, before Wang Yanwen nailed the fourth and last at 82.

"The national team members are young and need to improve to live up to the expectations of fans," commented Wang Shuang after Thursday's game.

"I hope that more and more people can pay attention to women's soccer in China," she added. Enditem
