MOSCOW, Oct. 9 (Xinhua) -- The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) reversed the approval of Moscow anti-doping laboratory to handle blood sample analysis on Saturday.

A Friday's meeting of the executive committee of WADA made the decision, claiming the Moscow lab manipulated the test data as a violation of the International Standard for Laboratories (ISL) regulations and its Code of Ethics.

WADA suspended the Moscow lab in January 2020 and the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) rendered the decision after Russia appealed.

WADA's disciplinary committee requested to check the lab's status for analyzing the blood samples of athletes in connection with athlete biological passports. Enditem
