WUHAN, Oct. 15, 2021 (Xinhua) -- The largest set of chime bells ever unearthed in China were recently relocated to the newly-built exhibition hall of Hubei Provincial Museum in Wuhan, central China's Hubei Province on Friday. The set of chime bells was found in 1978, also in Suizhou, in the tomb of Marquis Yi, a ruler of the ancient Zeng State. It comprises 65 bells parts and has been a highlight of the various collections of the Hubei Provincial Museum. Chime bells are a percussion instrument that became prevalent in China from the Western Zhou Dynasty (1046-771 BC).
