BAGHDAD, Dec. 7 (Xinhua) -- An Iraqi military helicopter on Tuesday made an emergency landing in the country's southern province of Maysan due to a technical malfunction, injuring the crew members, the Iraqi military said.
An army's Mi-17 helicopter made the emergency landing in al-Rifai area in Maysan due to a technical malfunction, a statement by the Iraqi Ministry of Defense said without revealing the number of the crew members.
The military authorities launched an investigation into the incident to find out the cause of the technical malfunction, the statement added. Enditem
