RIO DE JANEIRO, Feb. 14 (Xinhua) -- Argentina international right-back Fabricio Bustos has joined Brazil's Internacional after parting ways with Argentine side Independiente, the Porto Alegre club said on Monday.
The 25-year-old, who had been contracted to Independiente until June 30, agreed to a deal that runs until December 2024.
"Fabricio Bustos is [our] new signing. He will arrive in Porto Alegre in the coming days," Internacional said in a brief statement posted on social media.
Bustos made 174 first-team appearances and scored four goals for Independiente after being promoted from the club's youth ranks in 2016.
He has been capped four times for Argentina and also represented the Abiceleste at under-17 and under-20 levels. ■
