SAO PAULO, March 20 (Xinhua) -- Brazil's Supreme Federal Court on Sunday overturned Friday's decision that banned messaging platform Telegram from operating in the country for refusing to collaborate with judicial investigations.
The ruling was made by Justice Alexandre de Moraes, who said that Telegram had complied with court-mandated requirements and therefore the ban had been revoked.
"Due to complete compliance with the decisions made, I revoke the complete and comprehensive decision to suspend the operation of Telegram in Brazil," Moraes said in the decision. ■
