SINGAPORE, May 8 (Xinhua) -- The securities market turnover value in the Singapore Exchange (SGX) increased 37 percent year-on-year to 25.45 billion Singapore dollars (18.77 billion U.S. dollars) in April, according to the SGX monthly report issued on Wednesday.
There were 623 listed securities in SGX last month, with a total market capitalization of more than 777 billion Singapore dollars.
The securities market turnover value for Chinese companies listed in SGX grew 110 percent year-on-year in April. ■
