SINGAPORE, May 8 (Xinhua) -- Singaporean police arrested 102 suspects for unlicensed moneylending during an operation from April 22 to April 26, according to the latest statement from police.
Preliminary investigations showed that 11 suspects conducted harassment at debtors' residences, 45 assisted unlicensed moneylenders by carrying out ATM transfers, and 46 helped illegal moneylending businesses with their bank accounts.
Investigations against the suspects are ongoing. ■
