Guangdong Southeast Tigers center Yi Jianlian and Qingdao Eagles guard Darius Adams were named Friday Players of the Week of the Chinese Basketball Association

BEIJING, Dec. 27 (Xinhua) -- Guangdong Southeast Tigers center Yi Jianlian and Qingdao Eagles guard Darius Adams were named Friday Players of the Week of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA).

Yi averaged 16.3 points, 14.3 boards, 1.3 steals and one block in top-placed Guangdong's last three straight victories. The defending champion tops the table at 19-2.

Ninth-placed Qingdao is riding on a six-game winning streak. Adams finished an average of 40.7 points, 6 rebounds, 10.7 assists and 3.7 steals.
