TIANJIN, Dec. 28 (Xinhua) -- Chen Linjian scored his career-high 46 points to help Fujian Sturgeons beat Tianjin Pioneers 133-114 in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) here on Saturday.
Chen, 26, made 16 of his 20 attempts, including four of five 3-pointers, and converted 10 of 12 free throws during his 41 minutes on the court.
Center Wang Zhelin contributed 17 points and 12 rebounds for Fujian, while Marko Todorovic scored a team-high 29 points and grabbed 13 rebounds for Tianjin.
Tianjin center Shi Deshuai was fouled out in the third quarter when the host team cut the gap to five points.
The defeat was the fourth straight for Tianjin who sat next to the last in the 20-team CBA league.
