LONDON, Feb. 12 (Xinhua) -- British stocks rose on Wednesday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index up by 0.47 percent, or 34.93 points, to close at 7,534.37 points.
NMC Health, a private healthcare services provider, soared 9.77 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Anglo American and Antofagasta increased by 4.92 percent and 4.07 percent, respectively.
TUI AG, a Germany-based integrated tourism group, was the worst performer in the blue chips, with its shares losing 4.36 percent. Ocado Group, an online grocer, dropped 3.59 percent. Imperial Brands, a British multinational tobacco company, fell 2.12 percent. Enditem
