CSL side Dalian Professional land four new signings

DALIAN, Feb. 29 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Super League side Dalian Professional FC announced on Friday that they had completed the signings of four new players, including two from Sweden.

The Swedish recruits are winger Sam Larsson and defender Marcus Danielsson. 26-year-old Larsson joins from Dutch side Feyenoord, with whom he won the Dutch Cup in 2018, and has four caps for the Swedish national team.

30-year-old Danielsson also has four national team caps, and joins Dalian from Swedish outfit Djurgardens, having spent his entire career so far playing in his native country.

In addition to the Swedish duo, Dalian have also added two young domestic players to the club's roster for the 2020 season.

18-year-old striker Tao Qianglong, who received his first call up to the national squad in August 2019, joins from fellow CSL side Hebei China Fortune.

The other Chinese player is Lin Liangming, on loan from Portuguese side Maritimo. The 22-year-old signed a five-year contract with Real Madrid in 2015 and played for the club's reserve team in the 2016-2017 season before joining Almeria on loan.

Dalian Professional are coached by Spain's Rafa Benitez, who previously led Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Liverpool, notably guiding the English club to the UEFA Champions League title in 2005.
