CSL side Hebei China Fortune signed Bosnian defender Samir Memisevic.
SHIJIAZHUANG, China, Feb. 29 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Super League side Hebei China Fortune have signed Bosnian defender Samir Memisevic, the club announced late on Friday.
The 26-year-old joins Hebei after three and a half years with Dutch Eredivisie outfit Groningen, for whom he made over 100 appearances and scored nine goals.
Memisevic made his debut for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team in 2016, and has made three appearances for the Dragons.
"Memisevic is a tough player and a good passer with excellent aerial ball control. He will help consolidate our defense and we hope he can integrate into the team and help the club in the coming season," Hebei said in a statement.
Hebei finished 11th in the 16-team CSL table last season. ■
