LISBON, March 6 (Xinhua) -- The Portuguese government Friday condemned the terrorist attack near the U.S. embassy in Tunis, which killed one and injured five others.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that "The Portuguese government strongly condemns the terrorist attack committed today at the Embassy of the United States of America in Tunis, which caused a death toll among the Tunisian security forces and four wounded."
"The Portuguese government reaffirms its firm condemnation of terrorism, in all its forms, and expresses its solidarity with the people and government of the Tunisian Republic and its most sincere condolences to the victims' families," the statement added.
Two suicide bombers attacked a security post near the U.S. embassy in Tunisia, killing one security personnel, injuring four others and a civilian, according to the latest report by Tunisia's Interior Ministry. Enditem
