CHICAGO, March 9 (Xinhua) -- Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) agricultural futures traded mixed on Monday morning, with soybeans falling double digits as world stocks plunged on coronavirus fears.
As of 1642 GMT, the most active soybean contract for May delivery was down 15.75 cents to 8.755 U.S. dollars per bushel. May corn was down 3.5 cents to 3.725 dollars per bushel. May wheat was up 1 cent to 5.1675 dollars per bushel.
CBOT crop futures also took a hit as world stock markets fell sharply and oil prices crashed as the COVID-19 outbreak spread to more countries, said analysts.
However, bargain buying curbed the fall in crop futures and even pushed CBOT wheat prices back to positive territory. Enditem
