TASHKENT, March 16 (Xinhua) -- Major General Rustam Jurayev has been appointed commander of the National Guard of Uzbekistan, the press service of Uzbek Ministry of Internal Affairs said Monday.
Prior to his appointment, Jurayev was a deputy minister of the internal affairs and the head of Tashkent Department of Internal Affairs.
Jurayev replaced Bahodir Tashmatov, who had headed the National Guard since 2017. Enditem
