BANGKOK, March 19 (Xinhua) -- The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) will provide alcohol gel for people to use as a hand sanitizer against COVID-19.
Bangkok Governor Asawin Kwanmuang said on Thursday the BMA has prepared some 800,000 bottles of alcohol gel for free to people.
The alcohol gel, each bottle of which contains 200 to 250 milliliters, is being given at about 2,000 communities, railway stations, bus terminals and other public places throughout the capital city from Friday, Asawin said.
Each bottle of alcohol gel is expected to be used up by a recipient within one month, the governor said.
