MADRID, March 25 (Xinhua) -- Share values on the Spanish stock market rose by 3.35 percent on Wednesday, a second consecutive day of gains.
The benchmark Ibex-35 opened at 6,717.30 points and closed at 6,942.40 points, with 23 companies seeing their share price increase, while the prices of 11 companies fell and one remained unchanged.
Wednesday's best results were for Amadeus IT Group, which provides technological solutions for the travel sector, rising 12.76 percent in share values.
Shares in ACS, the construction company and infrastructure provider, added 11.45 percent, while mobile communications company Masmovil Ibercom gained 11.31 percent.
The Melia Hotels International group was Wednesday's worst performer, losing 6.62 percent, followed by healthcare and pharmaceutical provider Grifols S.A, which saw 5.73 percent knocked off its share value while infrastructure provider Acciona shed 2.60 percent. Enditem
