Vietnam's COVID-19 cases increase to 265

HANOI, April 13 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam's Ministry of Health on Monday evening confirmed three new cases of COVID-19 infection, bringing the total in the country to 265.

The new cases include two residents of Ha Loi village, which is located on the outskirt of the capital city of Hanoi and has been quarantined since April 8 after a villager was confirmed to be infected, and a Vietnamese male recently returning from Thailand.

Vietnam confirmed five new COVID-19 cases on Monday. The country had 2,264 suspected cases with over 75,000 being monitored and quarantined as of Monday evening, while 145 patients have recovered with no deaths reported so far, according to the health ministry.
