The environmentally friendly warehouse which looks just like a building from some science fiction film will be put into operation in late April.
Changsha, April 17 (Xinhua) -- A "capsule"-shaped bulk-cargo warehouse is under construction in Yueyang. The warehouse, which is about 470 meters in length, 110 meters in width and 46.5 meters in height, is scheduled to be put into operation in a more environment-friendly way on April 25. By now, the capping of the project has been finished.
As the main part of the Chenglingji Port's environmental protection and quality improvement project, the fully enclosed "capsule"-shaped warehouse will effectively solve the dust pollution problem of the cargo yard in Chenglingji Port, and will be conducive to the protection of the Yangtze River ecological environment.
