COLOMBO, May 8 (Xinhua) -- Local employees' living quarters in Sri Lanka's Port City Colombo were decorated with lanterns on Thursday to celebrate Vesak Day.
Vesak Day is one of most important festivals in Sri Lanka that falls on May 7, during which every family hang paper lanterns and light candles to brighten their home.
