TOKYO, May 11 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands around the upper 106 yen level in early deals in Tokyo on Monday.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 106.94-95 yen compared with 106.60-70 yen in New York and 106.37-38 yen at 5 p.m. on Friday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.0836-0840 dollars and 115.89-90 yen against 1.0839-0849 dollars and 115.60-70 yen in New York and 1.0823-0825 dollars and 115.13-17 yen in late Friday afternoon trade in Tokyo. Enditem
