American cyclist Valente wins cycling track women's omnium at Tokyo Olympics

TOKYO, Aug. 8 (Xinhua) -- American cyclist Jennifer Valente won the cycling track women's omnium at the Tokyo Olympic Games here on Sunday.

Valente collected a total of 124 points to take the gold, beating Yumi Kajihara of Japan to the second place in 110 points.

Kirsten Wild of the Netherlands took the bronze with 108 points. Enditem
