Slovan Bratislava remains only team undefeated in Slovak league

BRATISLAVA, Sept. 20 (Xinhua) -- SK Slovan Bratislava is the only undefeated team in the Slovak football premiership Fortuna Liga after finishing the most attractive match-up of September against MSK Zilina with a 2-2 draw.

Both SK Slovan Bratislava and MSK Zilina offered offense-oriented football with plenty of chances on both sides.

Visiting Zilina defender Tomas Nemcik scored an own goal four minutes into the game before his teammate Vahan Bichakhchyan managed to tie the game a few minutes later on a penalty kick.

The home team took the lead again in the 33rd minute when Slovan's new addition Samuel Mraz performed a nice individual play, deking out a defender and sending a low cross through the box that ended in the back of the net for 2-1. Zilina's Armenian midfielder Bichakhchyan tied the game again late in the first half, setting the final score to 2-2.
