BEIJING, Sept. 28 (Xinhua) -- Domestic disaster movie "Cloudy Mountain" stayed on top of the Chinese mainland box office Monday, data from the China Movie Data Information Network showed Tuesday.
The film generated a daily box office revenue of 11.5 million yuan (about 1.78 million U.S. dollars), amounting its total box office to just shy of 400 million yuan.
"My Country, My Parents," a domestic drama paying homage to past generations who have contributed to China's revolution and development, ranked second with a daily presale box office of 4.81 million yuan. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on Thursday.
Another domestic drama "All About My Mother" came in third with a daily box office of about 4.66 million yuan. Enditem
