The sixth annual conference of the Taihu World Cultural Forum kicked off Tuesday in Bengbu, east China's Anhui Province.
Themed "Mutual learning among civilizations: Jointly building a community of a shared future for humanity," the China-initiated forum offers a platform to promote dialogue and exchanges between different cultures.
An expo park with over 450 ancient Chinese dwellings is chosen as the permanent main venue of the forum.
With a history of hundreds of years, the designs of the ancient Chinese dwellings are unique, traditional, and well protected.
