KUNDUZ, Afghanistan, Nov. 12 (Xinhua) -- Unknown armed men killed one person and injured another in an attack in Kunduz city, the capital of the northern Kunduz province, on Friday, locals said.
According to the locals, two unknown armed men attacked two shop owners in Kunduz city on Friday morning, killing one on the spot and injuring another.
In the meantime, Matihullah Rohani, a provincial government official, has confirmed the incident, saying investigation has been initiated into the case.
According to local officials, police have arrested about 300 people involved in criminal activities over the past month in Kunduz and will continue to crack down on crime to ensure law and order in the province. Enditem
