Morocco hosts 8th Africa Students' and Youth Summit

RABAT, Dec. 20 (Xinhua) -- The eighth edition of Africa Students' and Youth Summit kicked off on Friday in the Moroccan capital Rabat with over 1,000 participants from 52 African countries.

The three-day event is organized by All Africa Students Union in partnership with the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation, with the participation of student unions and youth-led Nongovernmental organizations and regional and international youth organizations.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs Nasser Bourita said Africa must work to put cooperation at the service of education, training and employment.

Our countries should guarantee education, speed up training and create jobs, he added.
