Dollar changes hands in lower 110 yen range in early trade in Tokyo

TOKYO, Jan. 20 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 110 yen range in early deals in Tokyo on Monday morning, largely in line with its levels in New York late last week.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 110.19-20 yen, compared with 110.10-20 yen in New York and 110.20-22 yen at 5:00 p.m. on Friday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1095-1.1095 dollars and 122.26-30 yen against 1.1085-1095 dollars and 122.12-22 yen in New York, and 1.1136-1137 dollars and 122.72-76 yen in late Friday afternoon trade in Tokyo.
