TBILISI, Feb. 25 (Xinhua) -- Five people were killed in a road accident in the western Georgian district of Samtredia on Tuesday, the country's Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
The accident happened when a truck lost control and crashed into a minivan at the highway entrance to Samtredia municipality.
The collision killed all the five passengers in the minivan.
Local police have launched an investigation into the cause of the accident.
