Workplace deaths up 18% in Jan - INAIL Overall accidents down 3%

(ANSA) - Rome, February 28 - Workplace deaths in Italy rose 18.2% to 52 in January compared to a year previously, workplace accident insurance agency INAIL said Friday. Workplace accidents overall fell 3% to 46,483, it said. The number of work-related illnesses reported fell 5.6% to 4,634 cases.
