SARAJEVO, Sept. 24 (Xinhua) -- Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) fully respects China's sovereignty and territorial integrity, and firmly upholds the one-China principle, Denis Zvizdic, speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), has said.
Zvizdic made the remarks during a meeting with Ji Ping, Chinese ambassador to BiH, on Wednesday.
"China was one of the first countries to provide assistance to BiH after the outbreak of COVID-19, for which Bosnia is deeply grateful," Zvizdic said, adding that driven by the Belt and Road Initiative and cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European Countries, BiH-China relations have developed rapidly and cooperation in various fields has yielded fruitful results in recent years.
Zvizdic said he attached great importance to developing cooperation with China when serving as chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH, noting that he will continue to make contributions to the development of bilateral relations in the future.
"BiH needs Chinese investment and is willing to create a favorable environment for Chinese enterprises to invest," said Zvizdic. Enditem
